The majority of our curriculum consists of custom and private programs developed by BeFoundAlive.com and our clients. Some groups or organizations come back annually, as our customized training influences a unique part of their programs. Others needs are met after a single course, lecture or workshop. Custom and private courses offer the freedom and flexibility to train on your schedule and pinpoint specific skills that you want your employees or students to learn. Others clients simply prefer training alone and seek a one-on-one experience.

Knowledge is power, but knowledge is built, not received, incrementally over time. If teaching were simply telling, then anyone who excelled in a field would be an effective teacher. But this presentation model of teaching isn't effective for most students. Telling someone what they need to know or handing them a book isn't building knowledge. We subscribe to the experiential learning model of teaching, in which the role of the instructor is to create situations where learning through experience takes place. Students build upon their knowledge "line upon line, precept upon precept", by the end of the course they've accumulated a storehouse of information AND experience. But the experience must also be relevant for growth to occur.

Each workshop or course we teach is Light on Theory, Heavy on Practice. We are dedicated to providing our clients the most honest, well-rounded training available. Providing them a solid foundation on which to build a vast library of survival knowledge and mastery.
